This project is characterized by finding a balance of existing spaces to meet the client’s need to operate without changing the structural elements of the house. The only room on which a renovation was carried out, while maintaining the original masonry, was the bathroom, redesigned through the use of new flooring, wall tiles and furniture. The washbasin cabinet, top mirror, and shower stall were custom designed and made by professional craftsmen who took care of every single detail.
In the rest of the house, work was mainly done through the choice of materials, upholstery, and furniture, and the creation of custom furniture, such as the travertine table in the dining room, the Patagonia marble coffee table in the kitchen sneak corner, and the kitchen worktop.
A precise search for a balance dictated by warm nuances, lights and care for proportions to give the house a calm and elegant atmosphere.
