The apartment for a young couple is located in a recently built tower in Milan’s new smart district, Uptown. The interior design project, supervised by architect Maura Pinto, responds to clients’ needs to combine all the functions necessary for their daily lives in a small space.
The 75 square meters feature an environment that accommodates daytime living, where living, dining and kitchen coexist, and the private spaces with the two bedrooms and respective bathrooms. Fundamental was the care of proportions to take advantage of every square meter of the apartment. All the furniture (sideboard, TV cabinet, bedroom closet, sofa, chandelier and floor lamp) was designed according to the architect’s drawing and made by Brianza artisans with care for every single detail in the pursuit of beauty and harmony. Simple lines, balanced hues and care for proportions give the house a warm atmosphere, a small refuge of calm in a chaotic metropolis like Milan.
